Morgan man is dating his step granddaughter
She studied for three years at New York University’s graduate acting program, and taught underprivileged youth in Memphis. Morgan Freeman’s step-granddaughter was stabbed to death on a New York street in the early hours of Sunday, police have confirmed.
“Her friends and family were fortunate enough to have known what she meant as a person.” Hines is the granddaughter of Freeman’s first wife Jeanette Adair Bradshaw. According to her website, Hines was an actress and writer.
Freeman and Bradshaw divorced in 1979 after 12 years of marriage.
Freeman and his second wife, Myrna Colley-Lee, divorced in 2010.
Her boyfriend, 30-year-old actor and rapper Lamar Davenport, was arrested at the scene and taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation, the news station reported Monday. According to the New York Post, the man is Hines’ live-in boyfriend. E’dena Hines was the granddaughter of Freeman’s first wife, Jeannette Adair Bradshaw, to whom he was married to from 1967 to 1979.
